Web development
When a website needs to do something rather than just say something. Stores, booking systems, portals, stock managers and the integrations that connect them to the tools you already use.
There is a point where a brochure website stops being enough. Usually it arrives as a person: someone in the business spending hours each week copying information between a spreadsheet, an inbox and a website because no system joins them up.
That is the work we do here. Not software for its own sake — software that removes a specific job somebody is doing by hand.
The best measure of a system is whether the client stops needing us for the day-to-day.
What we build
- E-commerce. Online stores with South African payment gateways, local delivery options and a checkout designed to reduce drop-off.
- Booking and enquiry workflows. Appointments, quotes and job requests that land somewhere useful instead of an inbox.
- Client portals. Statements, documents and requests in one place, with role-based access so clients see only their own.
- Stock and inventory managers. So the team adds, edits and removes items themselves without phoning the developer.
- Integrations and API work. Connecting your site to accounting, CRM, calendars or supplier feeds.
- Performance rescue. Taking a slow, heavy site and making it fast without starting over.
A real example
Motorman FS is a used car dealership in Bloemfontein whose stock changes every week. They were on a slow site they could not update, which meant every new vehicle required a phone call to somebody else.
We rebuilt it around the vehicles: image handling fast enough that a full gallery opens on mobile data, finance and trade-in enquiries built into each listing where the interest actually is, and a stock manager the team runs themselves. They no longer need us to sell a car, which was the entire point.
How we scope it
- Discovery
- Free, no obligation
- Quoting
- Fixed, after scoping
- Code
- Yours, handed over
Custom work cannot be honestly quoted from a one-line brief, so we scope first. That means a conversation about what the system has to do, who uses it, and what it has to connect to. Then a fixed quote. If the honest answer is that an off-the-shelf tool does the job for a fraction of the price, we will tell you that instead.
Built to be handed over
Everything we write is yours, documented well enough that another developer could pick it up. We would rather you stay because the work is good than because leaving is painful.
