Google & Meta Ads

Paid advertising measured on enquiries, not impressions. The fastest way to find out whether there is demand for what you sell — and the honest alternative while SEO is still building.

SEO is the better long-term investment and we say so on our own SEO page. But it takes months. Ads take days. For a business that needs enquiries this quarter rather than next year, that difference matters enormously.

Ads also answer a question SEO cannot answer quickly: is anyone actually searching for this, and what do they pay to find it? A small, well-structured ad budget tells you in two weeks what six months of content guesswork would.

Impressions and clicks are not results. The only number that matters is enquiries, and what each one cost you.

Google Ads

  • Search campaigns built around intent — the terms where someone is ready to buy, not broad terms that burn budget on browsers.
  • Negative keywords from day one. Most wasted spend in South African accounts comes from missing negatives, not bad bids.
  • Conversion tracking before launch. If we cannot measure an enquiry we will not spend your money. This is non-negotiable and it is where most inherited accounts are broken.
  • Local targeting that respects geography, so you are not paying for clicks from people four provinces away.
  • Landing pages that match the ad. Sending paid traffic to a generic homepage is the most common and most expensive mistake we see.

Meta Ads

  • Facebook and Instagram campaigns for the businesses where that is genuinely where the customers are — trades, retail, hospitality, events.
  • Lead forms or WhatsApp as the destination, because in this market WhatsApp converts better than almost anything else.
  • Creative that looks local, not stock photography that every competitor is also using.
  • Audience and retargeting setup, so the people who visited your site actually see you again.

How it works commercially

Ad account
Yours, in your name
Ad spend
Paid by you, direct to Google
Reporting
Monthly, in plain English

The ad account is registered to your business, you pay Google directly, and you can see every rand at any time. We charge for managing it, not a markup on your spend. If we part ways, the account, the data and the campaign history stay with you.

What we will tell you before you spend

Not every business should run ads. If your margin per job is thin, your market is tiny, or your website cannot convert the traffic yet, ads will lose money faster than they make it. We will say that on the first call rather than take the management fee.

Usually the right order is: fix the site so it converts, set up the Google Business Profile and get reviews, then switch on a small ad budget and scale what works.
